SCP or Slow Cortical Potentials Neurofeedback is based on an electrical measure of brain activity that is distinct from the more standard EEG. While EEG looks at oscillations in electrical voltage in the frequency range 1-40 Hz, slow cortical potentials are shifts in the DC voltage measured from the scalp which occur more slowly than EEG rhythms.
